How Come Not All the Instruments Can Be Used on Pads?

Post by rickwaugh »

I'm curious. I don't intend to use the loop that much, I like to play the pads. But a number of samples that are available to build loops are not available in the pads. Why is that? Triangle, wave drum, wood - it doesn't make any sense.

We realize that we don't have equivalent pad kits for every loop instrument (and vice versa)... there are several different reasons why this is the case. However, we are happy to take suggestions for additions to either set (which are completely independent, as the loops are recorded audio, not sequenced sample playback), and we'll put triangle and sticks on the list. Pete Lockett will be doing some new recording sessions soon to fill in some of the gaps, please let us know if there are other specific items you want!

Those two would be good. I like all the little instruments, they are great to use. I just picked up Thumbjam, another great app of Sonosaurus, and the Guiro and Cabasa are there, but I don't think in Drumjam.
