Isn't it about time for some updates?

Time flies. In a few months DJ will have its first birthday. While the Audiobus and Jack additions were timely it seems we've been waiting a good while for some new sounds and/or user interface/performance enhancements.
So, what's up with the app? Is something imminent or do we wait until.......when?

You are completely correct, it has been a long time since any substantial update. We do have plans for a big feature update, and we have more kits and instruments on deck for the in-app purchase mechanism that will appear in that update. We can't give you a concrete schedule but it should be within a few months. Here are some of the planned features:
User created kits (using factory or imported samples) for the performance pads
Sequencing loop pattern changes
Some smarter randomization features for loop changes
More FX
Improved midi bindings
More kits/instruments via in-app purchase

Okey dokey, then. Please, PUHLEASE, have some jazz kits available. I'm going bonkers trying to get some good jazz percussion to use on the iPad. Lots of brushes needed.

What do you mean by the Continuous function, in the context of DrumJam?

The option in Drumjam to rock the solo pads with quarter/DOT Note Repeats is awesome, (would be great if there are accentet Notes like DA da da da DA da da da DA....)
& this great playing feature would be nice in Thumbjam too, thats all

Ok.... It's just that midi setup in DJ and Cubasis both seem to give each other as an option
