Basic loops

Can anyone suggest a simple way to start out with some basic music genre loops eg rock,country,surf.
The loops are good for complex afro/funk but seem to be lacking just some basic stuff including jazz.

I want to use app just for live playing, can I turn off loops completely ? Echa time I start play in inter-app audio it starts playing maybe I am missing some setting but anyway it wastes screen space if it is not used.... It would be cool to have UI optimised just for solo playing , thank you.
