Now that I'm finally the king of Tablas, I would like to be able to record only the live playing part while still listening to the patterns.
And thanks for a very cool app.

Re: Live play recording
this would be cool, that you can record your solo drummin as an loop, that you can play with it like the other loops inside your Parts.....

Good idea ... I agree. Ideally you could record or export audio and/or midi (as a performance or a loop).
Brilliant and seriously useful music app! Thanks.

Re: Live play recording
If you export the pattern to e.g. Thumbjam you can let it play in the background. But I´m sure you know this.
However, how can you exactly position the file of a solo without an exact zero?

Re: Live play recording
Being able to playback your recorded loops (and adjust tempo) in DrumJam is the first item on the TODO list. You are correct about background playback in ThumbJam, there is no foolproof way to sync it up, since TJ doesn't support midi clock yet, the best you can do is trigger the start manually in DJ by ear.
Using MoDrum or Loopy in the background to playback the loop is another option, and they do support midi clock sync.
